Pilotvape prebuilt coils for rebuildable atomisers
If you build on an RDA, RTA or RDTA, prebuilt coils take you from an empty deck to a ready-to-wick setup much faster. They’re already shaped for you: just install them, line them up, pulse them gently and then pull your cotton through.
Less wire work, more consistent builds
Prebuilt coils are perfect if you regularly rebuild several atomisers or want to compare different coil styles. Because the shape and construction are already set, resistance and vapour performance are easier to reproduce than with wire you shape entirely from scratch.
Understanding Ni80 coils
In the Dampfi range, Pilotvape mainly focuses on Ni80 prebuilt coils. This wire material is often used for rebuildable builds in wattage mode because it ramps up quickly. Before your first puff, always check the resistance on a regulated mod or ohm meter and pick a wattage that suits the coil, airflow and battery.
Check before installing
- Build deck: The coil needs enough room so it does not touch the cap or chimney.
- Airflow: Position the coil so the airflow hits it evenly.
- Material: Ni80 contains nickel; if you need to avoid nickel, choose a different wire material.
- Accessories: Make sure you have cotton, tweezers or a coil tool, plus a way to measure resistance.
