Squonk Mods – what are they and what do they do?
Squonking is becoming more and more popular across the vaping scene. The squonk mods made for it finally let you use drippers comfortably when you are out and about. With these mods, you no longer have to drip e-liquid into your RDA from the top in the usual way, and you can safely leave your juice bottle at home. Squonk mods let you feed your dripper from underneath through the 510 pin. For this to work, the RDA needs a special pin with a hollow centre, known as a bottom-feed pin. Through this opening, e-liquid is delivered into the atomizer deck whenever you need it, where it soaks into the cotton and is carried to the coil. Dripping really has never been easier than with a squonk box. Most squonk mods are mechanical mods, but there are also several regulated models available.
Squonk mods house an e-liquid bottle for squonking
Because drippers can only hold a limited amount of e-liquid, you need to re-saturate the cotton in the coil after just a few puffs. Normally, you do this from above by removing either the drip tip or the cap of the dripper and dripping e-liquid onto the cotton. Because of this, dripping is not exactly made for vaping on the go, and most vapers only use their dripper at home on the sofa. But what if you do not want to miss out on the benefits of your RDA on the way to work or in the car? That is exactly where squonk mods come in. Squonk mods have a special design that allows them to hold not only the batteries but also an e-liquid bottle inside the body. This bottle is made from a soft, flexible material. On some squonk mods, part of the bottle is fully exposed; on other models, the bottle is covered by a dedicated button. This means you can gently press the e-liquid bottle or the button on the squonk mod with one or two fingers. With every press, the mod pushes the ideal amount of e-liquid from the bottle through the hollow pin mentioned above and into the juice well of the dripper.

Today, these special squonk mods can be found in the range of almost every well-known manufacturer. Squonk box mods differ in terms of design, features and, of course, maximum output. However, all squonk mods have one thing in common: they come with the special e-liquid bottle that makes your favourite dripper completely practical for everyday use. Batteries and cells are still required here too. With one of these mods, you can finally enjoy the outstanding flavour and incredible vapour production of your dripper while you are out and about in everyday life!
