Schuko adapters for chargers and Swiss sockets
At Dampfi, Schuko covers power accessories that let you use German earthed plugs with Swiss sockets. They’re especially handy if you use an external battery charger, power supply or other vape accessories with a German plug at a fixed charging spot in Switzerland.
What a plug adapter does
An adapter simply creates the physical connection between two plug systems. It doesn’t convert voltage or change the mains frequency. So before you plug anything in, check the device’s rating label and make sure you stay within the adapter’s specified maximum current rating.
Important when charging vape batteries
When charging batteries, a secure plug connection matters so the power supply and charger stay firmly in place. Only use adapters with undamaged plugs, compatible devices and a socket where the adapter doesn’t wobble.
