RDTA Tanks
Buy RDTA tanks for your vape
RDTA tanks are perfect if you want the convenience of a tank atomizer with the direct, flavor-packed experience of a dripper. These special RDTA tanks combine two very different systems in a single atomizer. RDTA stands for “Rebuildable Dripping Tank Atomizer”, which already gives you a good idea of how flexible these tanks are in use. Thanks to their distinctive design, an RDTA can be used both as a tank atomizer and as a dripper. In the vaping scene, the Rebuildable Dripping Tank Atomizer is also often called a dripper tank or top-coiler. That last term says a lot about the unique construction of these innovative atomizers. Just like a dripper, some RDTAs feature a bottom-feeder pin, so you can run them on a squonk mod.
RDTA tanks deliver consistently excellent e-liquid flow
One of the clear advantages of a dripper is the short vapor path from the coil to the drip tip. RDTA tanks give you this benefit too, which is one reason drippers are known for such outstanding flavor. The build deck on these atomizers is usually positioned above the tank, keeping it nice and close to the drip tip. This special design is where the common term top-coiler comes from, and it is what makes using the atomizer as a dripper possible in the first place. You decide whether to fill the tank of your RDTA with e-liquid or drip e-liquid onto the wick from above every few puffs. When the atomizer’s coil is supplied with e-liquid from the tank, the liquid travels from the lower tank up to the heating wire through the capillary action of the cotton or silica wick. Some models even use fine mesh material, which is rolled into thin tubes and inserted into pre-drilled connection channels between the build deck and tank. The mesh also offers excellent capillary action and reliably carries the e-liquid from the tank below up to the coil.
RDTA tanks are easy to maintain
Another clear advantage of RDTA tanks is how easily you can access the coil and the cotton or silica wick. Because the build deck sits above the tank, you can get to your coil whenever you need to and carry out the necessary maintenance on your atomizer without any hassle. With a standard RTA, you first have to unscrew the tank and, if required, the atomizer chamber together with the chimney before you can reach your coil. RDTA atomizers have been hugely popular with experienced vapers and more advanced beginners for many years — and for good reason. In general, these atomizers offer especially strong vapor production and excellent flavor. If you’re just getting started with building your own coils, an RDTA is definitely a great choice. Add the right coil-building accessories and everything comes together smoothly and stress-free.
