Assistance for "Atomizer Low" and "Low Resistance" Notifications
Atomizer Low or Low Resistance Message Help
Every vape mod has a specific range it can fire within, usually ranging from 0.1 ohm to 3 ohms. If the resistance goes below or above this range, most vape mods display the "Atomizer Low" message. Depending on the manufacturer and model, you may also see messages like Low / High Resistance or Ohms too low/high. They all mean the same thing – the atomizer's resistance is outside the range that the vape mod can fire.
If you knowingly have the resistance extremely low, below 0.1 ohms or very high, above 2 ohms, there's a likelihood that your vape mod won't handle it, and it will show the Atomizer Low message.
To rule out the vape mod as the source of the issue, simply test it with a different atomizer. If that works, the problem lies with the atomizer.
Atomizer Low with Pre-built Coils
We check if all the components and the coil inside the atomizer are securely fastened. If the coil is loosely seated in the atomizer, it can indeed cause the problem. If this doesn't seem to be the issue, try replacing the coil with a new one. If the Atomizer Low problem persists, the likelihood of a defective atomizer is relatively high.
Atomizer Low with Rebuildables
In most cases, the cause of Atomizer Low is that the built-in coil is coming into contact with the inside of the atomizer chamber, or the positive pin is not properly tightened. So, the first thing we check is the coil. It may be placed too high or too wide. We also inspect the positive pin to ensure it's adequately tightened. Another reason for the Atomizer Low message could be the resistance of the coil if it was just installed and hasn't been fired yet. Try it on a different vape mod or install a coil that you know falls within the vape mod's range.
