Box Mods for Real Men – No Girly Stuff
Today we’re taking a look at box mods that don’t just perform brilliantly, but look the part too. One of my favourites, especially as a gift, is definitely the Vaporesso TAROT PRO 160W. With two 18650 batteries, the Tarot delivers plenty of power to see you through the day, backed up by solid tech and a sleek design. The firmware can be updated at any time, helping make sure the mod won’t feel outdated any time soon.
If 160 watts still isn’t enough for you, there’s the giant among box mods: the IJOY MAXO QUAD, packing a massive 315 watts. That much power does come with a fair bit of weight, though. The Maxo Quad needs a full four batteries to hit that peak output.
The sweet spot is the Alien with 220 watts. The design, display size and power from two 18650 batteries all hit the mark. What I personally really like about the Alien is the size of the display, something glasses wearers in particular will appreciate.
