How to Fix the “No Atomizer” Error on Your Vape

No Atomizer Error Help

Coffee break, and your vape suddenly won’t fire. “No atomizer”? What does that mean? It’s pretty simple: your mod can no longer detect the tank.

No Atomizer: causes and what you can do about it

Unscrew the tank from your mod and try a different one. If you get the same error message again, the 510 connector on your mod is probably faulty.

If the “no atomizer” error only appears with one specific tank, the problem lies there. That doesn’t necessarily mean the tank itself is broken, though—the “No Atomizer” message can just as easily be caused by the 510 thread.

The 510 connection is the global standard for connecting mods to tanks. In rare cases, however, manufacturers don’t follow the specs exactly—for example, the connector on the tank may be slightly too short, preventing it from making contact with the positive pin.

Another possible cause is that the centrally positioned positive pin doesn’t protrude far enough. This can usually be adjusted quite easily with a small screwdriver. But be careful! Make sure the positive pin isn’t loose or wobbling. It should move as little as possible—otherwise you can head straight over to Atomizer Short – what helps? – because your problem has simply turned into a different one.
