Summer E-Liquids – Beach Vibes for Your Tank
With coronavirus around, most of us probably won’t be heading to the beach to soak up the sun, sip fruity cocktails and indulge in amazing food. But I’ve got good news: we’ve got sunshine here too, along with stunning mountains and plenty of lakes made for hiking and swimming. Cocktails as cheap as the ones on a beach in Thailand are a bit harder to come by here – or pretty time-consuming if you make them yourself. But I’ve got a few tips for you there too! What’s this really about? Exactly: summer e-liquids!
There are plenty of summery e-liquids out there. I’ve picked out a few of my favourite summer vape juices for you and I’m going to introduce them now.
Mekong Juice – Mango Cocktail E-Liquid
If we can’t really travel abroad, let’s kick off our first summer e-liquid right here in beautiful Switzerland. Mekong Juice Mango Cocktail definitely takes the top spot for me among mango e-liquids. Mango Cocktail comes from Rüttenen in the canton of Solothurn and is bottled by Vape Lounge in Worben. It’s pleasantly sweet, wonderfully fruity and, thanks to a dash of cooling agent, nicely chilled on the inhale. Definitely one to try if you love authentic mango e-liquids and, for me personally, a proper summer vape juice!
Vapelounge Cloud Juice – Tropical Breeze
Since we’re already talking about Swiss e-liquids, let’s stick with them. Tropical Breeze combines tropical fruits with a touch of freshness. More specifically, it tastes of sun-ripened oranges, fresh mango and a little pomegranate – like a tasty fruit cocktail with a few refreshing ice cubes. The slightly tart note of the pomegranate works brilliantly with the sweetness of the orange and mango – ideal as a summer e-liquid: not too heavy, but not too icy either.
Aisu – Aloe Vera
Aloe vera isn’t exactly known as a delicacy around here; most people know it from cosmetics, especially skin and hand creams. It has cooling properties and, surprisingly, a slightly fruity, distinctive taste. If you know the aloe vera drink from Coop, you know exactly what this e-liquid tastes like. Wonderfully cool, refreshing and sweet – so it’s also perfect as a summer e-liquid.

Just Juice – Kiwi & Cranberry on Ice
With Just Juice, we’re moving into the properly sweet side of summer e-liquids. The cool thing – literally – about Kiwi & Cranberry is the pleasant chill you get when vaping, plus a tart note that probably comes from the cranberry flavour. That slight acidity balances out the sweetness of this summer e-liquid and rounds off the flavour profile beautifully.
Curieux Yumé – Yoko
What belongs in summer – and fits perfectly into a summer e-liquid – is cool watermelon and juicy peach. Yoko by Curieux is a real fruit bomb and has only been available for a short time. It’s pleasantly sweet, the watermelon comes through nicely, and the peach adds the perfect finishing touch at the end. My current favourite among the summer e-liquids!
The Barber – Wild Gin Longfill Concentrate
If you really miss those warm evenings by the pool with great cocktails, you should try this longfill concentrate. The Wild Gin summer e-liquid actually tastes like gin, tonic and delicate wild strawberries. Just like the ones you can sometimes find in our forests (careful, don’t eat them – tapeworm alert!) It’s the first summer e-liquid here without a cooling effect, but it’s perfect for enjoying outside on the balcony in the evening when it’s cooler!
Flavorist - Maroc Mint Longfill Concentrate
My personal superstar among summer e-liquids is definitely the Maroc Mint longfill concentrate. If you know Moroccan mint, you know what it tastes like. Softer and more aromatic than the mint we usually know, combined with a light freshness – the perfect summer e-liquid for my taste. Oh, and before I forget: Maroc Mint is probably also the cheapest e-liquid in this post. Why? As with The Barber, this is a longfill concentrate. So the bottle only contains the concentrate and is topped up with nicotine shots and base to make a finished summer e-liquid.
