Sky Herbline Lemongrass
Lemongrass, also known by its scientific name Cymbopogon citratus, originated in India and Sri Lanka, but now grows in all tropical regions worldwide. Lemongrass belongs to the sweet grass family and gives off a lemony scent with a hint of rose. Most people know it from Thai cuisine, where it is an ingredient in many dishes.
Lemongrass is said to have aphrodisiac properties and is also antiseptic. In Ayurvedic medicine it is often used for detoxification and drainage of the body, but is also used against gastrointestinal complaints and for colds. When smoked with lemongrass, it is said to promote serenity and calmness and provide a fresh atmosphere.
A temperature of 130 °C is recommended for vaporizing.
