Sage, also known by its scientific name Salvia officinalis, belongs to the labiates family and originates from the Mediterranean region. Meanwhile, it is also widespread in our latitudes and is not missing in any herb garden. Sky Herbline sage comes from controlled organic cultivation.

In the Middle Ages, the leaves of sage were said to symbolize eternal life and recovery, and the healing effects of sage were discovered very early. It is said to provide relief from sore throats, coughs, or flu-like infections, and it is also used to treat excessive sweating, diseases of the gums, and pimples. It is also said to have calming and concentration-enhancing properties. In incense, on the other hand, it is used for cleaning places and spaces, for centuries sage has been used for incense to remove old energies and also negative energies.

To enjoy a sage tea, you pour hot water over the leaves and let them steep. For vaporizing, on the other hand, a temperature between 125 °C and 150 °C is recommended.
